While it can be overwhelming the first time you decide to play, here are 13 of the best paintball places in Philadelphia you should check out if you are new to this fantastic sport.
134 Kurtz Rd,
Schwenksville, PA 19473
Poco Loco Paintball is an outdoor paintball park in the Philadelphia suburbs, just a short drive from the central city. They've been serving the public since 1992, making them one of the Philadelphia area's oldest and most experienced paintball parks.
The field is really large, so you can run around and have fun without worrying about getting hit by other players. The field also has a lot of obstacles that you can use to hide behind and sneak your way into taking shots at your opponents. The field is rocky, so make sure you wear good shoes if you want to play here.
They charge per air fill instead of offering unlimited air; the price for paintballs is on par with Skirmish but with lower-quality fields. But they make up for it by providing a variety of fields and a high level of customer service from the owner, who works there every weekend.
307 Swartley Road
Hatfield, PA 19440
Outdoor Xtreme provides opportunities for adults and kids to have a great time. Adults can play against their friends or colleagues in competitive matches. Kids will enjoy plenty of activities —from laser tag games to laser maze challenges!
The main field is surrounded by trees, making for some interesting cover options. There's also a smaller field that's perfect for beginners, and then there are two more fields that offer more of an urban setting.
They have a series of private locations where different games can be played, including paintball, airsoft, low-impact paintball, splatmaster, and laser tag. They also hold various party packages for birthdays and other events.

Fairless Hills, PA 19030
Crusader Paintball Club offers a unique experience, with private parties and walk-on play. Each package includes a rental mask, gun, air tank, paintballs, and all-inclusive access to private tables and fields.
Crusader Paintball's six fields of play are filled with natural terrain that keeps you hidden when it comes time to shoot. Crusader's on-site pro shop and all-inclusive rental packages ensure that everything you need is within reach so you can have an epic game.
The only drawback of this facility is that there are no lockers or specific areas to keep items locked up or in a safe place. This can pose problems if you have to leave behind your belongings during a game. Their prices are also higher compared to other areas, but this means better quality equipment and safety precautions taken by staff members.
3650 I St,
Philadelphia, PA 19134

They offer everything from beginner-friendly private parties to league tournaments. Their extensive selection of equipment and accessories allows every player to find what they need for their next adventure.
They have just one field, but that's all you need! The indoor field is on lightly sand-coated concrete, making it easy to walk on in your shoes or sneakers. They also have minimal coverage to see where the other players are at all times.

Quickshot Paintball has a huge field, with lots of different buildings and other terrain features that make you feel like you're really in a warzone. Customer service is a top priority at Quickshot Paintball, and the employees are very knowledgeable about paintball. Refs are also fantastic, working hard to keep the game running smoothly and ready to answer any questions you may have.
The only downside is that the speedball field is only open every other weekend. But if you're planning on playing more than once or twice, it's worth it—it's definitely worth saving up for.

Mantua Township, NJ 08051
The Playground Paintball Park is the best paintball place in Philadelphia for various reasons. It's a great place for all skill levels, with friendly staff and a fun environment. The courses are also very affordable, and you can get your whole family in on the action.
The courses are well-designed and offer an excellent variety to choose your own adventure. There are also many things to do before or after (depending on how long you want to play). There's also a pizza place next door where you can grab some lunch before heading back out onto the course.
If you're just looking for a day of fun with your friends, they offer Standard pricing of $50 per person (including field entry, marker rental, compressed air tank, unlimited air fills, full mask, and 500 paintballs) or Plus pricing of $65 per person (including everything in their standard package along with 1,000 paintballs).
When you come to Playground Paintball Park, you have the option of bringing your own paintballs. However, if you rent equipment from their facility, you must also buy paint from them. If you have your equipment but want to bring your own paintballs, that's also fine—you just need to let them know so they can set up your rental correctly.
If you have a group coming in, make sure to call ahead as they can get busy on weekends.
64 Norcross Rd,
Berlin, NJ 08009
Picasso Lake Paintball is located only 40 minutes from Philadelphia, has a few different playing fields, and they're all kept in great condition. The barriers include random spools and barrels and sections of fence, which adds to the excitement of the game.
You can bring your own paintballs or buy them at the field. They have a large, clean staging area for you and your team to hang out and get psyched up for the game. The staff is friendly, and they're happy to help you find a field that matches your skill level and interests.
A minor downside is that the field doesn't have a pro shop on-site. Players must bring their own equipment or rent what they need on-site. Their average walk-on group is very large, so it is sometimes hard for referees to keep everyone under control.
Hammonton, NJ 08037
Apocalypse Paintball is conveniently located off the highway, 35 miles away from Philadelphia. Their facility features an air-conditioned staging area, a well-stocked pro shop with all the gear you could want or need, and a snack bar serving refreshments to paintball enthusiasts of all skill levels.
Their staff is welcoming and friendly, ensuring you have a clean and professional experience while you're there. Their equipment is top-notch, and they have a great selection of supplies at incredibly competitive prices.
The playing fields offer an array of thrilling challenges, and the staff makes sure they're in great shape, so you'll have a blast every time you play. You can bring your own equipment, but you can rent it from the pro-shop at reasonable prices if you don't have any.
The basic package for 2 hours of play is $50, including admission for two people and a gun, goggles, air, and 200 paintballs each. For a rental player, the average cost for a day of play is $55 - $15 for entry, $15 for your standard rental equipment package, and $25 for paint. You can share a 2000 case of paint ($100) with 3 of your friends and split the cost, which means that $25 will get you 500 rounds of paint for the day.

The space is large enough to fit 80 players at a time, providing ample room for gatherings and parties. The facility's grounds are vast and offer magnificent views of the surrounding area.

AC Paintball provides a memorable and fun paintball experience for all types of groups.
The park is 80 acres with bushes and trees to hide behind. And when you're not hiding from your opponent, you can try out your speedball skills on the course. It's a great place for beginners and experts alike.
Their pricing varies depending on group size and the services you require. According to customers, the front desk staff is helpful and friendly, even if they're not always knowledgeable about certain aspects of the park.
The only negative thing we can say is that the field paint's quality is low—we never had a cap break even when shot from close range!
240 S White Horse Pike,
Hammonton, NJ 08037
Gear-Up Paintball has seven big outdoor fields perfect for playing paintball, with plenty of room to run around and shoot at each other.
The staff is accommodating and hospitable, making sure you'll have everything you need to play and enjoy your time. The fields were great and gave variety to the games. You can play capture the flag or just go on an adventure with your team and see who can get closest to other players without getting tagged by their paintballs.
There are only a few cons: there's only one bathroom, so it's a bit of a wait for everyone at once; if you're with a large group, it could take a while for everyone to get back from their game before you can start again.
750 Whiting-New Egypt Rd,
Manchester Township, NJ 08759
Cousins Paintball in New Jersey is an enjoyable place to play paintball. The staff is helpful and friendly, making it a prime location for anyone looking to spend a day shooting paint-filled pellets at each other.
The venue offers an expansive area with plenty of room for guests to move around. They also provide plenty of hiding places, including artificial ones like ornamental trees. They can accommodate private events for your corporate needs or a special birthday party for your children.
They have a range of game offerings, including capture the flag and team elimination. Their equipment is likewise functional and in good shape. While it is not allowed to use your own paintballs, some may see the game's price tag as a bit steep. The bunkers also need work, as they are uneven and can chafe your legs while you are playing.
