Texas is known for its gorgeous landscapes and diverse terrain—including mountains and forests—which means that wherever you are in this state, there's a place nearby where you can play paintball.

I've got you covered if you're looking for the best paintball fields in Texas. I've scoured the state and found 22 of the most thrilling, challenging, and entertaining fields to play on—so no matter where you are in Texas, there's a field near you that'll make it worth your while.

Fun On The Run Paintball

2621 Roberts Cut Off Rd,
Fort Worth, TX 76114

Fun On The Run Paintball is where to go if you're seeking a kid-friendly paintball field around Texas. This paintball park features a variety of fields for various activities, including speedball, woodland, castle, city, and more. It also has great prices and a variety of courses to choose from.

But maybe the most stunning aspect of this field is the staff. They're pleasant, quick, and well-organized, and they make sure everyone has a good time while playing paintball. They also have a fantastic pro shop where you can buy great equipment after your game.

The main drawback is that parking might be difficult later in the day (though it is still better than other paintball grounds). There are no viewing areas for guests, so you'll have to stand outside or in your car to observe your friends play.

DFW Adventure Park

13055 Cleveland Gibbs Rd,
Northlake, TX 76262

If you enjoy competitive paintball, this is the place to be. The DFW Adventure Park includes a variety of fields and amenities, so you'll never be bored with what you're playing on. All of the maps are enjoyable to play, and several courses to choose from.

Prices are cheaper than in other fields. You don't have to pay extra for "non-players" to watch the games; they can do so for free. The Zombie Hunt experience is unique and ideal for immersing guests who are unfamiliar with paintball.

It's also beneficial since their shooting fields are open and separated well enough that players won't mistakenly shoot each other or be struck by stray bullets from other players' weapons.

They had automated throwers that worked well, but they were a little fussy when reloading paintballs into them. Overall, this is a fantastic paintball facility with outstanding amenities!

Giant Party Sports Paintball & Airsoft Park

4404 Dillehay Dr,
Parker, TX 75002

Giant Party Sports Paintball & Airsoft Park is ideal for those new to airsoft or paintball. The fields are around 50 yards long and 25 yards wide, and there are several speedball fields.

You'll never be bored at the park, which now offers six airsoft/paintball maps to play on (in addition to the paintball arenas). Professional facilities with several fields ensure that there is always a game going on when you arrive—and they can handle any group of players playing at the same time.

They also have air stations on both sides, allowing for speedy turnover. Because the games are only two rounds long, you won't be spending significant periods playing a single round.

The main drawback is that there is no shade on the fields, but you can always bring an umbrella if needed. There are also only porta-potties—no bathrooms.

Official Paintball

17437 Adams Trail,
Forney, TX 75126

Official Paintball provides it all, whether you want a field with many strategic choices or one with an outstanding map. They also provide covered spaces where parents may rest while their children play on the grounds.

The refs here are fantastic, and safety is always their primary focus. They also provide outstanding rental equipment suitable for both newcomers and seasoned professionals.

You can purchase all kinds of wonderful gear at their shop, including high-quality paintballs and masks that will keep your eyes protected while you play.

I would suggest that they would add water stations around the course—it gets hot out there.

Whatz-Up Paintball

700 E Cedar Creek Pkwy,
Seven Points, TX 75143

For years, Whatz-Up Paintball has been the go-to paintball field in Dallas. Their professionally constructed course is built on more than 60 acres of property, and they host activities all year to keep you entertained.

They offer plenty of space for everyone to play simultaneously, and they have a variety of unique courses to keep you entertained. Their rates are inexpensive, so you won't have to worry about spending time or money.

They also cater to individual parties and business events of all sizes. They have a whole staff committed to ensuring that everyone can enjoy the field in a safe and welcoming setting.

The only drawback is that you must reload your firearms after each round. However, they offer paintballs at a discount, so it's not a huge problem.

GatSplat Indoor Paintball

4720 Industrial St,
Rowlett, TX 75088

GatSplat Indoor Paintball provides a fantastic indoor facility that feels like you're out in the woods, but you won't get drenched or burnt. The layout is fantastic, with a large area and plenty of space to walk around and have fun.

If you don't have a huge group, this is a terrific option for going outside because it's indoors and has decent gear that's easy to use and provides lots of protection (including face masks). The staff is helpful, friendly, and attentive, and they provide nice rental equipment at reasonable costs.

The only drawback is that it can be expensive for some people, but if you're looking for something enjoyable to do with friends or family, it's well worth it!

Austin Paintball

4150 US-290,
Dripping Springs, TX 78620

Austin Paintball is ideal for those new to the sport or seeking a good time with friends. The field offers ample parking and is easily accessible from everywhere in the state.

Diverse maps provide various difficulties for both novice and experienced players. The forested surroundings around each map help to create an immersive experience. After a full day of playing, the picnic table area is covered for relaxation and dining.

The staff goes out of their way to ensure everyone has a good time and feels welcome. They're also quite informed about paintball, so they can answer any questions about what equipment is ideal for you.

Xtreme Paintball

7415 Burleson Manor Rd,
Manor, TX 78653

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, Xtreme Paintball is the place to be. You'll have a good time playing with friends or just practicing. The staff is friendly, and they make everyone feel welcome.

You may rent their equipment or bring your own, but they will ensure everyone has enough ammo to play multiple rounds before leaving the field. The field offers reasonable pricing and a large selection of equipment, including rental devices that are base model 98 Tippmann.

The space is slightly smaller than expected (it might appear cramped if there are too many participants), but this keeps the game from dragging on for too long.

Texas Paintball

18300 Medina Vista Ln,
Jonestown, TX 78645

Texas Paintball's grounds are well-designed and distinctively themed, with plenty of diversity to keep things interesting. They also offer a fully equipped paintball store where you can purchase whatever you need or extra paintballs before starting a game.

You won't have to worry about stumbling over barbed wire or broken glass because the fields are well-maintained. There are buildings, autos, and even an airplane and helicopter to play on.

The duration between games was roughly 10-15 minutes, which was ideal because it gave me enough time to prepare for each situation without feeling pressured. The referees are also fantastic in organizing the games and enforcing the regulations.

Lost Paintball

4701 Hilliard Rd,
San Marcos, TX 78666

Lost Paintball is an excellent choice for young and inexperienced paintball players. The staff is friendly and helpful, the regulations are clear and simple, and the courses are competitive.

They've been upgrading their fields and introducing new difficulties for players, such as various courses (five in all), each with its own set of obstacles. The staff guarantees that all equipment (including masks), paintballs, food, and drinks are available to participants.

The main drawback is that the maps are littered with pebbles, causing you to trip a few times every round. This, however, adds to the excitement! As previous players have mentioned, bring a face mask since rented masks are sweaty and foul.

XFactor Paintball Park

18239 Bracken Dr,

XFactor Paintball Park offers everything you need to have a good time in their field. They have 18 distinct fields, each with its own style and layout, so there's always something new to try.

They provide several packages for individuals who wish to make the most of their stay here.

You may choose from field-paint only, tournament, or public play packages, including entrance, paint, and safety equipment for a single day at the park. You may customize your experience by purchasing more paintballs, safety jackets, or gun barrels.

You may also rent their facilities for your own private event or party. From Monday through Sunday, you may hold your birthday party or create an event for your company's office party for roughly $850.

Predator Paintball Park

20590 Bandera Rd,
Helotes, TX 78023

Predator Paintball Park is ideal for both beginner and veteran players. They have one of the largest playing areas of paintball, with over 20 acres of playing space.

If you want some advice, the staff is friendly and competent, and they are always happy to assist you in improving your game. They also provide group play and private parties where everyone has their own field space.

Each of their fields is fully stocked with rental equipment. You can rent a rifle, mask, or even a tank or hopper if necessary. The pro store also has a large selection of paintballs, all of which are high quality.

The only thing that might be improved is the quality of the guns—some people complained that they were old and dirty and that they kept jamming! If possible, bring your own gun—the rest of the experience is fantastic!

Paintball Knights

13289 La Vernia Rd,
St Hedwig, TX 78152

Paintball Knights have a selection of distinct game styles that will keep your party involved and entertained all day. This field provides something for everyone, whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned player.

You may play on any of their nine fields, with plenty of room between each participant to walk freely without crashing or getting in each other's way. There are also various competitions available if you are feeling competitive.

Paintball Knights also host birthday parties for children and adults. Their team has a lot of expertise dealing with injuries, so they'll ensure everyone has a good time while being safe.

Splat Zone Indoor Paintball

11260 Hempstead Rd,
Houston, TX 77092

SplatZone Indoor Paintball is an excellent choice for any paintball aficionado. The facility is immaculate, the event space is large, and the equipment is hygienic.

The staff is really friendly and accommodating. Each match consists of three rounds, allowing you to play all day at a fair price. They offer a large field that is ideal for parties or small groups, and they ensure that everyone has an equal chance of winning by providing limitless ammo.

There are also sparkling clean facilities to use when you've finished playing. The only drawback is that if there are too many teams, you will have to wait for your turns because there is only one battleground.

Urban War Zone Paintball

2315 Telephone Rd,
Houston, TX 77023

Urban War Zone Paintball is suitable for players, from weekend warriors to first-timers.

The team is extremely attentive to the requirements of its customers and will assist you with any queries or problems you may have. They are also quite knowledgeable about the paintball game and can advise you on how to enhance your abilities.

The fields are well-maintained so that they are always available for players when they come. There is enough seating available for both participants and spectators. The fees are very reasonable compared to other fields in Texas, making it highly accessible to everyone who wants to play paintball!

Survival Game of Texas, Inc

2309 Aldine Meadows Rd,
Houston, TX 77032

Survival Game of Texas is a fantastic environment for both new and seasoned gamers. The owners and employees are friendly and informed, and they can respond to questions you may have. The referees are likewise relaxed and friendly, so they'll make sure everyone has a great time while playing.

The environment is ideal for woodball adventures, with many buildings and bunkers to exploit for some nice tactical play. The forests are well-maintained, so no dead trees or unkempt foliage on the courses. The bunkers are strategically situated to provide lots of shelter and hiding.

AGR Sports Indoor Paintball

1300 E 40th St,
Houston, TX 77022

AGR Sports Indoor Paintball is the place to go if you're seeking an indoor paintball field.

It's a terrific location to take kids since they'll have a joy shooting paintballs at each other while you sit back and watch—or participate!

The arena is large enough to accommodate two sets of players simultaneously, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The pricing is more than reasonable, and you can even bring your own food if you choose (though they do have concessions).

A paintball gun, mask, shirt, and pants are all provided. Several packages are available based on the number of players and the type of equipment required.

Paintball Zone

14100 Beamer Rd,
Friendswood, TX 77546

Paintball Zone is a family-friendly park with a fun environment and attentive officials to ensure you have a fantastic time on the field. They offer unique arenas and activities that you won't find anywhere else at an affordable price.

They sell everything you need for paintball at their pro shop–from masks to gun upgrades to accessories like jerseys and caps. The park features fort and mound fields strategically placed so that you may hide behind bushes at the appropriate height to provide cover while firing at your friends.

If you want to save money on renting their equipment, you can bring your own. Remember to bring insect repellent since these grounds get extremely muddy when it rains!

Texas Legends Paintball

11099 Ponderosa Timbers Dr,
The Woodlands, TX 77385

Texas Legends Paintball is a fantastic venue to play paintball in Texas for various reasons, not just the fields themselves. The proprietors are nice and friendly, the referees are kind and fair, and the prices are cheap.

This field provides an excellent woodsball experience. They make superb use of structure and bunker placement, resulting in various entertaining scenarios. If you want a different style of play than woodsball, you can opt from two alternative speedball fields.

Each field's structure is fairly solid—they've hit a good sweet spot between pace and scenario play that is both fun and demanding. There are many outdoor tables and a few barbecue vendors on-site where you can get some food or beverages before returning to the action.

TXR Paintball

15550 Grant Rd,
Cypress, TX 77429

TXR Paintball has a range of various games and forms for everyone, from kids to veterans. Low-impact paintball is ideal for children, although standard speedball fields are available for adults seeking a greater challenge.

The facilities are extensive, with several fields catering to any style of game you can think of—speedball, woodsball, or anything else you want to play. They supply masks, weapons, and paintballs, so you don't have to worry about renting or carrying your own equipment.

Furthermore, if you need a cause to celebrate anything—birthdays, anniversaries, or just simple fun—they offer special event packages at reasonable costs.

Balls & Bruises Paintball Airsoft

22565 I-45,
Spring, TX 77389

Balls & Bruises Paintball Airsoft features a variety of parks for both paintball and airsoft, allowing you to experience your favorite game in a new way each time. The owners and employees are fantastic—they constantly go above and beyond to ensure that their guests have a fantastic day.

They're also quite flexible about how many games you play, so if you want to have a good time with your friends and family, this is the place to go. There are also many tables, making it simple for everyone to sit down and have lunch or take a break from running about all day.

The pricing is also quite affordable! You may rent or bring your own equipment if you like, but you'll get a lot of bang for your money in this field. If you're bringing your own group, I recommend bringing enough children to avoid being paired with strangers.

22011 Southwest Fwy,
Richmond, TX 77469

TANKS PAINTBALL PARKS is a fun location for people of all ages, and the field is clean, safe, and well-kept.

The park is clean, has enough players to keep everyone engaged, and allows you to bring your own snacks to enjoy between games. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the equipment appeared functional.

The area contains a diverse range of areas with varying objectives—you can choose whether you want to be a sniper or prefer sneaky missions or capture-the-flag activities! There's even a snack bar where you can get something to eat or drink while playing.

The equipment worked well, but I did find the paint a little pricey—it didn't fly very straight at all. That being said, it was still a great experience!
