Miami is known for its gorgeous beaches, vibrant art scene, and hip nightlife. But did you know that it's also home to some of the best paintball fields in the country?
If you're looking for an affordable, fun way to spend the day, paintball is a great option. Paintball fields are usually located in woods or other rural areas, giving you a chance to enjoy nature while getting your adrenaline pumping.
Whether you're a veteran player who knows their way around the field or just starting out and looking for a place to play, there are plenty of paintball fields in Miami. Here are my top six picks:
20800 SW 134th Ave,
Miami, FL 33177
MatrixTactical.com
Matrix Tactical Paintball is hands-down the best paintball field in Miami. They have two fields, one for airsoft and one for paintball, and both are great for kids or anyone who wants to play some serious games of war.
The long-range field is ideal for airsoft players who want long-distance combat and woodsball enthusiasts. On the other hand, the short-range field is great for all types of paintball players and kids who want to practice their aim.
Their rental guns are top-notch and very affordable; they also offer full protective gear if you need it. Refills for CO2 are free and unlimited, making playing here even more affordable.
The staff at Matrix Tactical is friendly and helpful if you're looking for something specific (like a birthday party) or just want some tips about playing better.
The only drawback is that it takes some time between games—but that's nothing compared to how much fun you'll have while you're there!
220 NW 137th Ave,
Miami, FL 33182
FamilyPaintballCenter.com
Family Paintball Center is a clean and well-maintained paintball field in Miami, full of props—like junked cars and barricades—making for a more realistic experience.
You can bring your own food & drinks to the facility, which is great for birthday parties or just a day of fun with your friends. The wait between rounds is minimal, so you'll spend less time waiting around than at most other fields (and you won't get bored).
The paintball itself is less painful than on other fields, and you can switch between areas without restrictions—allowing you to choose where you want to play next! The location has plenty of parking, which is great for birthday parties or other occasions.
28401 SW 202nd Ave,
Homestead, FL 33030
PaintballPartyPlace.com
The Paintball Party Place is one of the best paintball fields in Florida. It's located about 45 minutes from Miami, so it's a great place to bring your family and friends for an afternoon of fun.
The field has a huge tent with seating for all guests, so you can enjoy your time there without worrying about getting sunburned or overheating. They provide all the supplies (gun, mask, etc.), which are clean and intact.
The property itself is perfect for groups—it isn't too big or too small; it has enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves without feeling crowded or confined. They offer a wide variety of game modes—you won't get bored here! They have everything from capture the flag to zombies (the zombie walk-through is fun).
The only downside is that you need to book your spot early as they fill up quickly, and no walk-ins are allowed!
16169 Southern Blvd,
Loxahatchee, FL 33470
PiqueTracePark.com
Piquet Entertainment & Race Park is a paintball field that offers a fantastic experience for both new and experienced players alike. Whether you're new to the game or a seasoned veteran, it has everything you need to have a fun day with family and friends.
The staff at Piquet is amazing—they're friendly, helpful, and excited about getting out on the field with you! They offer tips and suggestions for fun game modes to keep everyone engaged and having fun.
Referees are great at giving tips on how to improve your game, which makes it easy to get started playing right away. They also had fun playing games with friends like capture-the-flag and zombie hunt.
Some players state they experienced issues with their reservation or felt like they were overpaying for what they got at Piquet Entertainment & Race Park. Still, overall it's a great place to go if you want an exciting day full of intense competition.
6401 Sheridan St,
Hollywood, FL 33024
ERPark.com
The atmosphere at Extreme Rage Paintball Park is family-oriented, so it's perfect for both new and experienced players. The staff is fantastic and really helpful to all of the questions about the field and provides rental equipment.
The staff is amazing and provides you with all the information needed to know before playing.
They also offer rental equipment available so you can play all day without having to purchase your own gear or worry about bringing it with you.
There are discounts available for large groups, so if you have a big party coming over or want to take your friends out on a group adventure, this is definitely the place! There are food trucks outside, including BBQs, snowballs, cheesesteaks, hotdogs, etc.
The only drawback is that it can get pretty busy on weekends with many birthday parties happening or large groups coming through. And occasionally, you'll smell something weird in the facility due to a water plant directly behind them, and they have no control over it.
2221 SW Del Rio Blvd,
Port St. Lucie, FL 34953
InvinciblesPaintball.com
Invincibles Paintball Park is a huge field with tons of awesome structures, such as a plane, a bus, a truck, multiple towers, and tunnels—the list goes on! There are multiple courses for different skill levels and plenty of game mode ideas available to keep things interesting and fun!
It's also a great place to go for a company/team builder event because they have special packages available for groups. They have rental guns, air refills, masks, vests, and paintballs—and they offer great pricing on all of these items.
The only drawback about this place is that there is no netting between active fields, so if your child wants to play gel blasters, there is no barrier between them and active paintball matches happening nearby.
If you're looking for an exciting new hobby or just want something fun to do on Saturday afternoon with friends or family members, check out these five great spots around Miami where you can play paintball:
There are plenty of places to play and many different kinds of fields—from ones that allow you to get up close and personal with your targets (like zombies) to ones that let you practice long-distance shooting or even sneak up on your friends with stealth.
The next time you want to go out and have some fun with friends and families, make sure these fields are at the top of your list!
If you have questions or comments about the fields that I've highlighted here, I'd love to hear from you!
