If you're new to paintball, they offer a step-by-step beginners program to get you started. The game structure is well organized. The entire family will enjoy their western-themed course, military-themed course, woodsball courses, picnic & observation area, and a refreshment area. Bring your lunch or dinner, throw it on the grill, and cool off in our shaded picnic area.
If you're looking for something different from their regularly scheduled games, they also offer private events, including birthday parties, corporate functions, team-building exercises, and bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Paintball Central is the premier outdoor paintball field near Charlotte, NC. With covered sitting areas and picnic tables, it's a great place to relax before, after, or even during your game.
They have outdoor fields for all different levels of play, including a low-impact rental facility that has less impact energy while traveling at the same speeds—it's perfect for anyone who isn't ready to play with 62cal equipment. Or, if you would prefer to play with higher-impact 68cal equipment, call the facility, and they can set something up for you.
You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. This can help you save money if you have a large group that's a little hungry after all those games! Games last from 3 to 15 minutes, depending on the field and group size.
Their Basic Rental Package costs $30 per person and includes 3 hours of playtime, admission to the facility, a rental gear package, and paintballs (sold separately). Glory Road Paintball has some of the best paintball fields near Charlotte, NC to learn how to play. It's small enough that you won't be overwhelmed by a huge facility and crowd, but it's also well-maintained, so you won't have to worry about too many muddy spots.
Although the field is small and the bunkers are outdated, it's a good place to practice your skills or start out if you've never played before. It'll be more challenging than just playing with your friends in the backyard, especially since there are only two teams on the field at once instead of 3-4 like you might see on other fields.
The prices are very reasonable, considering Glory Road charges $20 to play all day with your own equipment and $30 with their rental gear. They also charge $10 per bag of paintballs or $40 per box (with four bags), cheaper than any other field around.
They offer open play on Saturdays from 10 AM to 7 PM and Sundays from 1 PM to 7 PM. They also have private reservations Monday through Friday for those who want their paintball adventure.
Overall, Glory Road is an excellent place for beginners to start playing and learning the sport, but if you're looking for more experience, this might not be the place for you.

Fields feature a combination of woods and astroturf, complete with professional-grade bunkers and bases that are frequently revamped, so you'll never play on a stale field.
You can play their fields for $22 all day long on Saturdays from 9 AM-5 PM and Sundays from 12 PM-5 PM. However, if you bring outside paint, it will cost an additional $20 fee.

They also offer Axe Throwing by reservation only with six lanes onsite or a two-lane trailer that can be brought to your location. Their staff would be happy to assist you in providing the right information to host anything from large corporate outings, birthday parties, or just hanging out with friends for some friendly competition.
Their all-day field pass with free air costs only $20. If you don't have your own equipment and want to rent one of their packages, you can get entry, air-fill, marker, and mask for only $32. Or, if you want something with a little more firepower and paint), they have another option that includes entry, air-fill, marker, mask, and 500 paintballs for only $45.
Lake Norman Paintball has multiple fields for play, rental equipment for any level of experience, and a small retail shop onsite to pick up anything you need.
