There's a lot to love about Los Angeles. The city of angels is home to amazing food, beautiful beaches, and vibrant culture. I might be biased, but I think Los Angeles County is one of the best places to live globally.

But there are different things you can do in LA aside from tourist scenes. And if you're a paintball enthusiast, that means having access to some of the best paintball fields in the country. In this post, we'll show you some of our favorite paintball fields around Los Angeles and help you find the right one for your needs.

Hollywood Sports Paintball & Airsoft Park

9030 Somerset Blvd,
Bellflower, CA 90706
HollywoodSports.com

Hollywood Sports Paintball & Airsoft Park is one of the best places to go paintballing near Los Angeles. The staff is friendly and helpful, the gameplay is fast-paced, and the facilities are top-notch.

While you might be used to paintball places with portapotties as bathrooms, this place has actual indoor bathrooms. You also don't have to worry about muddy shoes—the floors are concrete, and the parking lot is even paved. There's also a viewing area upstairs to watch your friends on the field.

Of course, no place is perfect—prepare for pricey paint that doesn't shoot very well. If you bring your own gear, the knowledgeable staff will still be happy to help you out by filling up your tank or adjusting your goggles when they start to fog up.

Ambush Paintball and Airsoft Park

8643 Shekell Rd,
Moorpark, CA 93021
AmbushPaintballPark.com

Ambush Paintball and Airsoft Park is a great place for experienced and novice paintballers alike, with a variety of fields to choose from–including open fields, forested areas, and buildings.

The staff is friendly and helpful and ensures everyone knows the rules and safety precautions before entering the field. The interior is clean and well-kept, but what really stands out about this park is its massive selection of equipment—from paintballs to masks and gear for players of all sizes.

The fields are well-designed and provide plenty of challenges for vets while also accessible to newbies. The park itself is clean and well-maintained, with lots of parking available to bring your car or truck.

However, you will need to bring your own snacks or food because there are no restaurants nearby. They only have Porta-potties too, which may be uncomfortable for some people.

Stryker Paintball & Airsoft

17081 S Mountain Rd,
Santa Paula, CA 93060
Strykerpa.com

Stryker Paintball & Airsoft offers great scenarios and various game modes that are sure to cater to all ages and experience levels. They also have maps where you can hone your skills by playing alone or with friends. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making playing here an enjoyable experience.

The location is excellent—close to many restaurants and gas stations for lunch breaks. They have equipment available for rent if you don't want to bring your own, and they also have restrooms on-site. Even tables and grills are available if you're going for a barbecue or picnic.

The only thing that could be better is their chronograph. It's old, so it's sometimes hard to read your gun's power level due to inaccuracy.

Combat Paintball Park

31050 Charlie Canyon Rd,
Castaic, CA 91384
Playcpp.com

Combat Paintball Park has everything you need for a great day of paintball. They offer a full rental package for anyone from beginner to advanced, making it an excellent choice for families who want to try out the sport.

They offer new visors, exciting tracks, and new protection gear for guests. They have reasonably priced food and drinks and great refs who make sure everyone has fun while they play. Combat Paintball Park has great fields and multiple creative and exciting courses.

Some customers stated that the waiver signing process was somewhat confusing—it wasn't entirely clear which parts needed to sign or initial. Also, it seems like their selection of guns is limited—you might want to bring your own equipment if possible.

SC Village Paintball and Airsoft Park

8900 McCarty Rd,
Corona, CA 92880
SCVillage.com

SC Village Paintball and Airsoft Park are great for beginners and kids, who can play in the beginner area on the weekends, but they're grouped by skill class during the week. They have a lot of different terrains and objectives, from large semi-open fields with plenty of covers to close-quarter combat areas.

The communication between refs is efficient, and they are proactive about helping you get into a game. They also have some cool maps that you can use to plan your games with your friends. The staff are amazing and will help you out if you have trouble with your gun or need any other advice about playing.

As soon as you arrive at the park, they have a 1-hour long check-in time where you lose an hour of playtime just waiting. The rental gear was okay but kept jamming—so make sure to bring your own.

Jungle Island Paintball

14881 Temescal Canyon Rd,
Lake Elsinore, CA 92530
Jungle-island.com

1 hr away

Jungle Island Paintball is a great paintball place, just an hour away from Los Angeles. The fields are very diverse, ranging from canyons to cities and mock urban areas. They have exciting maps and games, perfect for beginners, kids, and even adults looking for a fun and affordable way to spend the day.

You can enjoy a day packed with excitement for $25 for the day and $25 extra to rent an airsoft gun and functional materials. The games are widely varied from capture the flag, control, and diamond heist to last man standing. They have several games available, including capture the flag, control, diamond heist, and last man standing.

The staff helps make sure that everyone is playing safely, and they do an excellent job at keeping the park clean and well-maintained. They also have restrooms on-site and a small parts shop that sells batteries, accessories, and food.

The only downsides are that they could use some maintenance work done on the field (some of the paintballs get stuck in cracks). Their rental guns were antiques that didn't shoot very far or accurately.

Warped Paintball Park

34481 Ridge Rte Rd,
Castaic, CA 91384

Warped Paintball Park has an incredible inventory of fields to choose from, with various terrain, weather conditions, and mazes to create a unique experience every time.

You can play all day with rentals and get 2000 paintballs for $55 or pay $25 for the day and $25 extra to rent an airsoft gun and applicable materials. They also have a great selection of courses. You can choose between playing in their village, temple, castle courses, or other unique courses like the haunted house and two-story building.

The only downside is that there is a lot of gravel, dust, and uneven areas throughout the field. It may not be the best place for people who don't walk well or have trouble with rough terrain.

Paintball USA

540 W Carson Mesa Rd,
Palmdale, CA 93550
PaintballUSA.org

Paintball USA is a great place to go if you want to play paintball, located an hour away from Los Angeles. Their fields are large and ideal for deathmatch, capture the flag, and zombies. They're also well-kept and easy to navigate, so you won't end up in an awkward situation where you keep getting lost on the field because it's hard to see.

You'll play games against evenly matched opponents with full ammo for $40, including 500 balls. They have clear-cut rules and directions to keep everyone safe. Every player has a referee on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly.

There are many tables and benches to sit at when taking a break from playing. There is also a local pizza place nearby if you want to grab some lunch between rounds or just refuel yourself before heading back into battle.

The only thing that could be improved is their maps; they're tiny and hard to read sometimes. Players also reported small issues with pads smelling bad or masks being scratched up.
